Mercedes-Benz SL & E-Class Estate
Tuesday February 25, 2003
Mercedes-Benz has debuted a few new models, the SL 600 and the SL 350
join the SL range, and the new E-Class estate. Nothing really noteworthy
there, except the fact that the twin turbo SL 600 delivers a
mind-blowing 800 nm of torque and 500 bhp. The new E-Class estate is
available in engines from 1.8 litres to 3.2 litres, has supercharged and
naturally aspirated petrol and turbocharged common-rail diesel engine
options, as well as having the Mercedes-Benz 4Matic four wheel drive
system available for certain models. Power ranges from 160 bhp to 220
bhp. Most models are available with 5 speed automatic transmissions, or
6 speed manual.
