Many changes to report

Well, 2002 is nearly upon us, and the Silly Season is about to blow. Carfolio.com has been keeping going all the while, having today reached the milestone of 8100 records! And we didn't even let you guys know we'd hit 8000. Sneaky, huh? We were also rather remiss by not letting you know about the new look. But it must have been hard to miss.
So what notable newbies have hit the ether today, you ask? For starters, the Toyota Avensis ranges, old and new, have been added, as has the startling Caldina GT-T (and its less fiery brethen too). The Ferrari section has hit the 100 mark (yippee!), with the addition of the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, the 225 S, the 342 America and the 125 S. TVRs Tamora also hits the database, as does the latest incarnation of the Mazda RX8. Nissan's ripping new Primera joins us as well, as does the fantastic new Lancia Thesis range. A number of fine old Alfa Romeos also take a bow, notably the Giulia 1600S and Giulia Diesel models. BMW has released the giant-killing MINI Cooper S, with a potent supercharged 1600 four. Volkswagen surprised everybody at Tokyo by launching their new W12 supercar, with a top speed of over 330 km/h. That is naturally also included. Opel's wacky Frogster doppelganger masjien joins this rather long list of entries, accompanied by Maserati's Spyder sensation. More? You bet.
TVR has another new entry, the Tuscan S, which ups the basic power to 390 bhp. Nice. A number of other concepts from the Frankfurt and Tokyo shows also take a bow, like the Daihatsu U4B, the Toyota pod and the Toyota FXS. Honda's latest VTEC animal is unleashed as well, the Civic Type R Dangan, with 212 bhp from its 2 litres, rips into the lists.
