The database is being updated with seemingly monotonous regularity these days. We're up to around 7900 models. Ho-hum. Watch soon for details on the new Ford Fiesta, with its new look. Pretty much like a smaller Focus. Not terribly exciting, but a key ingredient in Ford's revitalisation plans for Europe, according to the people who write Ford's press releases. It's due to be released in Frankfurt in September of this year (2001). This batch of updates however contains some rather scrumptious additions. Look out for the new Mercedes-Benz 500 SL, another model set to take a bow at Frankfurt later. Looking back in time a bit, we also have two of the best looking Fords ever, the 20 MTS OSI Coupes, one 2 litre and one 2.3 litre. Not sportscars by any stretch of the imagination, but really pretty nonetheless. Numerous Volvos have been added, as well as the delightful Suzuki C2, with its 1600cc V-8 and a claimed 250 bhp. Also getting some space is the Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG, the US version of the BMW M Coupe, a few Australian Fords, like the XR8, one or two more Bucklers and the wacko bB Open Deck from Toyota. A few other US-market Bee-Ems have made it into the database as well, for instance the 2.5 litre Z3s.

After all the excitement about the Your Stable feature that we added a couple of weeks ago, comes the distressing realisation that not many are using the feature.
