Tesla Roadster - electric sports car

Tesla Motors, a high-tech startup from the USA, recently launched their laptop battery-powered Roadster. With help from a number of outsourced companies, including Lotus, their 2-seater car should give a range of about 250 miles. The electric motor is good for 248 bhp, and will propel the vehicle to 60 mph from rest in under 4 seconds. A very interesting project indeed, and with the investors behind it that Tesla has - people like Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of Google, as well as Elon Musk, the man behind PayPal - it looks likely to do well.
