Porsche Cayenne Specifications - 2007

The Porsche Cayenne just got a lot hotter! An increase in engine sizes across the range has resulted in more power for all models. The specification is further improved by a reduction in drag coefficient, with the 8 cylinder models improving from 0.39 to 0.35, and the V6 models from 0.38 to 0.35. The subtle bodywork tweaks have left the dimensions virtually unchanged, and it's in the engine department where the most exciting news lies.
The 8 cylinder models get a 3 mm increase in bore to 96.0 mm, whilst the stroke remains at 83.0 mm. This results in a 295 cc increase in volume to 4806 cc. The most powerful variant, the Cayenne Turbo, now puts out 500 PS (368 kW), an increase of 50 PS over the outgoing Turbo model. Torque is up as well, from 620 Nm to 700 Nm. The result of all these changes is a 5.1 second 0-100 km/h time, with the 160 km/h time being a fantastic 11.4 seconds. Porsche claims a top speed of 275 km/h.
The other two engines in the range are similarly improved. The naturally aspirated V8 now produces 385 PS (283 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lbft) of torque, and the V6 Cayenne has figures of 290 PS (213 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lbft).
