Opel Omega Evolution 500

Produced in very small numbers from 1991-1993, this rare car was built by Opel to challenge the BMW M3 Evolution and Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution DTM racers. A handful of the road-going Opel Omega Evolution 500 was produced. With the aggressive bodykit, and a suitably more powerful engine than the ordinary Omega range had, it has something of a cult following today. The 3-litre engine was good for 230 PS (169 kW) and a top speed of 230km/h.
