Thanks to Giugiaro and Ford, we have fairly in-depth specs on the Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept that wowed the 2006 LA Auto Show. The Mustang GT's 4.6 litre, 24-valve engine has been modified and fitted with a supercharger to produce 500 horsepower. Torque specs were not revealed, however. The subtle changes to the bodywork were done by Fabrizio Giugiaro, who is the son of automotive design guru Giorgietto Giugiaro - coincidentally a designer of a one-off Mustang back in 1965 while still working for Bertone. These alterations have produced a far more coherent and muscular looking design than the standard 'Stang. This concept was voted favourite concept of the show by readers of Autoblog.com.
