Lamborghini's Murcielago has been given substantially more power and some styling tweaks. The new Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 develops 640 PS (631 bhp, 471 kW) at a dizzy 8000 rpm. The V-12 has been enlarged by 304cc to 6496cc by taking the cylinder bore from 87.0mm to 88.0mm and the stroke from 86.8mm to 89.0mm. Performance is staggering, with a time of 3.4 seconds claimed for the sprint from 0-100 km/h, whilst the top speed is likely to be more than 322 km/h.
