Fiat have released the specifications of their spanking new Grande Punto range. It looks fantastic - sort of like a mini-Maserati from the front, and pert and cheeky from most other angles.
Engines range from 1.2 litre petrol units to 1.9 litre 16-valve Multijet turbodiesels; outputs from 65 PS to 130 PS. All but the 1.9 16v Mutlijet versions are available as 3- and 5-door versions.
Hopefully hotter versions will follow as soon as possible, but for now rejoice in the fact that one of the world's oldest car makers is fighting hard for survival and seemingly coming up with the goods.
