Hyundai Avante (Elantra) receives a facelift

South Korea's Hyundai Motor Company has made some detail changes to their Avante range. The Avante is known in most markets outside of South Korea as the Elantra.
The front features new LED lighting and projection headlamps, along with a redesigned bumper and grille. Overall length is up 20 mm from the pre-facelift version to 4550 mm.
The range receives a new diesel engine in the home market. The new 1.6 litre turbodiesel produces 128 PS (94 kW) and 279 N·m (206 lb·ft) in automatic guise or 260 N·m (192 lb·ft) with a manual 'box. The automatic version is equipped with Hyundai's Idle Stop & Go (ISG) system that switches of the engine while the vehicle is stationary.
The Avante range in South Korea features two 1.6 litre petrol engines in addition to the new diesel. All engine options are available with 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmissions.
