Carfolio.com uses Google's AdSense programme to deliver ads to readers. We do this in order to recoup costs of hosting and other overheads. It has long been our policy to provide only text ads since AdSense was unable to separate delivery of image ads from other non-text formats such as Flash, which would often include sound and video, and that would impact negatively on the user experience at Carfolio.com. As of today, AdSense can be set to deliver only static image and text ads, so in order to increase ad revenues, we will now display both formats.

While we are on the subject of ads, please consider whitelisting Carfolio.com if you use any adblocking software. The content will always remain free to access, but we do need to pay hosting and other bills. Thank you.
