Porsche's Cayman S has a new smaller sibling. The Porsche Cayman gets its 2.7-litre engine from the Boxster range, and in this application it produces 245 PS (that's 242 bhp or 180kW) at 6500 rpm with 273 Nm of torque from 4600 rpm to 6000 rpm. Porsche claims a 0-100km/h time of 6.1 seconds for the six-speed manual version, with the standing start kilometre dispatched in a time of 26.0 seconds. It has a stated top speed of 258km/h. Two other gearbox options are available, a five-speed manual and a Tiptronic.
