The Triumph Dolomite Sprint is a saloon (sedan) designed by Michelotti with 4 doors and a front mounted engine which supplies the power to the rear wheels.
The 4 cylinder, single overhead camshaft naturally aspirated powerplant has 4 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 2 litres. This unit develops power and torque figures of 127 bhp (129 PS/95 kW) at 5700 rpm and 165 Nm (122 lbft/16.8 kgm) at 4500 rpm respectively.
The engine powers the wheels through a 4 speed manual with overdrive transmission.
