The Strato-Chief is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) passenger car with a front placed engine, produced by Pontiac.
Its 8 cylinder, overhead valve naturally aspirated engine has 2 valves per cylinder and a displacement of 7.4 litres. In this application it provides power and torque figures of 345 bhp (350 PS/257 kW) at 4400 rpm and 678 Nm (500 lbft/69.1 kgm) at 3000 rpm respectively.
