It forms part of Mercedes-Benz's W 140 range of cars.
Power is produced by a double overhead camshaft, 2.8 litre naturally aspirated 6 cylinder motor, with 4 valves per cylinder that develops power and torque figures of 190 bhp (193 PS/142 kW) at 5500 rpm and 270 N·m (199 lb·ft/27.5 kgm) at 3750 rpm respectively.
