The Custom 500 is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) road car with a front mounted engine, produced by Ford.
It is part of Ford's Custom series of cars.
The 6.4 litre engine is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, 8 cylinder unit that has an output of 300 bhp (304 PS/224 kW) of power at 4600 rpm, and maximum torque of 579 N·m (427 lb·ft/59 kgm) at 2800 rpm.
The engine powers the wheels by means of a 3 speed manual transmission.
