The Ronart Lightning is a 2 door roadster style car with a front mounted engine driving through the rear wheels.
The power is produced by a naturally aspirated engine of 4.6 litre capacity. This unit features double overhead camshaft valve gear, a 90 degree V 8 cylinder layout, and 4 valves per cylinder. It produces 325 bhp (330 PS/242 kW) of power at 5800 rpm, and maximum torque of 407 N·m (300 lb·ft/41.5 kgm) at 4800 rpm.
The engine powers the wheels compliments of a 5 speed manual 'box.
