The Fireflite Hardtop is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) road car with a front located engine, produced by De Soto.
It forms part of De Soto's Fireflite PS1 range of cars.
Its 8 cylinder, overhead valve naturally aspirated powerplant has 2 valves per cylinder and a volume of 6.3 litres. In this application it produces power and torque figures of 325 bhp (330 PS/242 kW) at 4600 rpm and 576.1 Nm (425 lbft/58.7 kgm) at 2800 rpm respectively.
This power is delivered to the wheels through a 3 speed automatic transmission.
