The Firedome Convertible TorqueFlite is a rear wheel drive convertible/cabriolet motor car with a front positioned engine, produced by De Soto.
It forms part of De Soto's LS2-M model range.
It is powered by a naturally aspirated engine of 5.9 litre capacity. This unit features overhead valve valve gear, a 90 degree V 8 cylinder layout, and 2 valves per cylinder. It produces 295 bhp (299 PS/220 kW) of power at 4600 rpm, and maximum torque of 529 N·m (390 lb·ft/53.9 kgm) at 2400 rpm.
