The Impala Sport Sedan Powerglide is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) motor car with a front placed engine, sold by Chevrolet.
The power is produced by a naturally aspirated engine of 4.6 litre capacity. This powerplant features overhead valve valve gear, a 90 degree V 8 cylinder layout, and 2 valves per cylinder. It produces 250 bhp (253 PS/186 kW) of power at 5000 rpm, and maximum torque of 414 N·m (305 lb·ft/42.2 kgm) at 3800 rpm.
The power is transmitted to the wheels through a 2 speed automatic gearbox.
