The Ambassador V-8 Super is a rear wheel drive saloon (sedan) road car with a front mounted engine, produced by AMC.
It is part of AMC's 80 Ambassador range of cars.
The power is produced by a naturally aspirated engine of 5.1 litre capacity. This unit features overhead valve valve gear, a 90 degree V 8 cylinder layout, and 2 valves per cylinder. It has an output of 250 bhp (253 PS/186 kW) of power at 4700 rpm, and maximum torque of 461 N·m (340 lb·ft/47 kgm) at 2600 rpm.
A 3 speed manual with overdrive gearbox supplies the power to the wheels.
